Dietary Fibre Conference 2018 preliminary programme & speakers announced

The 2018 Dietary Fibre conference (DF18) in Rotterdam, The Netherlands marks the 6th conference of the highly successful Dietary Fibre Conference series. Starting in 2000 in Dublin, the DF conference is held every three years with the last edition being held in 2015 in Paris. DF conferences focus mainly on the integration of nutritional and consumer science with food technology, product development, analysis and legal aspects. The 2018 edition in Rotterdam will cover all sources of dietary fibre and their diversity regarding impact on food structure, the human gut microbiome and health. Furthermore, state-of-the art reviews by authoritative speakers will be held and updates on new developments in major international projects, including MyNewGut will be given.

MyNewGut workshop at the upcoming Dietary Fibre Conference 2018

From the 4th until the 6th of June 2018 the 7th International Dietary Fibre Conference will be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Researchers from the MyNewGut project will be present and conducting a workshop on the 4th. This workshop will present and discuss the innovations arising from MyNewGut, the market opportunities and threats, as well as strategies for maximising the exploitation of the outcomes from the project.
