Development of new food prototypes and ingredients targeting the gut microbiome

The industrial partners of the MyNewGut project will capitalise on the information generated during previous stages of the project to produce innovative foods and ingredients that beneficially modulate the gut microbiome and its functions. Academic partners within the consortium will collaborate to provide a proof-of-concept that interventions with specific diets, innovative ingredients and prototypes have the potential to reduce the risks and consequences of metabolic and brain-related disorders.
